Who We Are
Fit for Service AZ is a Christian homeschool P.E. co-op that meets to strengthen physical bodies, make lasting friendships, and support each other in our homeschooling endeavors. We average about 100 families with around 300 kids each year.
Our P.E. year runs October through April, and we take most of December off. FFSAZ meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:00-3:30 PM at Freestone Park, 1045 E. Juniper Road, Gilbert, AZ 85234. Class time is from 2:00 to 3:00. Then, all classes, 9-years-old and up, run a mile. P.E. is officially over at 3:30.
Children are placed in classes according to their age at the start of class (October) We strive to have class sizes large enough to make teams and play games while small enough to get plenty of play, and experience time for all students. We cater to school age children 5-18 (senior in high school) with a goal for a 4 year old option depending on teacher availability. Teens, 14 years and up, are grouped into a Boys’ Teen Class or a Girls’ Teen Class. The teens play coed every other month.
We encourage additional connection, communication, and fellowship among families through our private website forum, three seasonal parties, and monthly Parents’ Connect—a fun meeting time offered at the park during P.E.
